Biographie succinte

Biographie succinte
Paradise Lost est un groupe de gothic metal britannique du Yorkshire fondé en 1989.
Cependant, il n'est pas très populaire dans son pays d'origine, mais est célebre dans la plupart des pays d'Europe.

Ses membres actuels sont :
- Nick Holmes (chant)
- Greg Mackintosh (guitare)
- Aaron Aedy (guitare)
- Steve Edmonson (basse)

Le groupe a versé successivement dans le doom/death, le gothic metal puis la synthpop (avec un son proche de ce que faisait le groupe Depeche Mode dans les années 1980) avant de verser à nouveau dans le gothic metal.
Il est notament remarquable par sa longévité, seul le poste batteur a changé ( Lee Morris et Matthew Archer)
